Prep parent teacher

Julian had his parent-teacher assessment for prep yesterday. His teacher said, “Julian is a real character. He’s absolutely delightful. He’s kind, compassionate, warm and very affectionate. He says deep things, such as “It’s important to be kind to your friends and make them feel good.”She also says he has a lot of focus, likes participating and learning, and is an incredible drawer. She says he is an extraordinarily happy child, and bubbles with fun. She says that sometimes he’s silly with his friends but she doesn’t like to douse that as she thinks it’s part of who he is. We were encouraged to buy some board games and a pack of cards so that he can learn that kind of focus and rule-following that comes with games.
