J: Let me think....um...no, you don't need to improve on anything.

Cranbourne

 

I was one of the mothers accompanying the prep kids to the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens for a day excursion this week. I was the only mother, however, whose kids wanted to sit next to me on the bus!

 

 

Plant Diary

 

At school, Julian has been keeping a plant diary. Clearly he has not inherited his grandmother's green thumb...

 

 

 

 

 

Halloween

 

We had a Halloween party today: each child was allowed to invite four kids, but between siblings and friends, we ended up with 15 kids altogether. It didn't take nearly as long to organise and do as the last party - despite the hand-drawn posters - but Julian said it was even better than his superhero party. The key was trick or treating: we had a great time visiting about 20 houses. Sadly, this year no one came to ours - we were clearly off the Lonely Planet track!
