Jenga match at St Jerome's

We got to go glamping for a media launch last night, and among the fellow guests was footy player Jack Watts. Julian challenged him to a game of Jenga which, by the end, had the whole room clapping and roaring with cheers. Julian lost but everyone said it was the highest Jenga building they'd ever seen.

I love watching my children express themselves creatively. For the first picture, Julian was inspired by a fellow student who was into anime; the second came after watching the Batman movie trilogy, starring Christian Bale. Last night he was trying to memorise the rap bit of Eminem's The Monster for his school talent show....

I asked Julian to draw a card for his Zaida when I went out last
night. This morning, he was very excited about the results. When I
took a look, I asked, Julian, why have you drawn your zaida as a
skeleton with a kippah on his head? Apparently, the skull was the
coolest thing he could think of and the 'kippah' was shading.
I quizzed babysitter Wazza about it, who said, "I asked him if it was
suitable for a birthday, and he said maybe I was right, and it was 'a
bit gloomy.'...So he went back and put a balloon on it!' Haha. Here is
the result, and the fix we had to do after discussion.
