Story # 1:
Julian approached me in my study one day and said, with some trepidation, "Mum, if you were a zombie, would you tell me?" I looked at him in astonishment and I said, "Julian! How could you think that the mummy who loves you is a zombie? What makes you think that?" And he replied, "Because you have such big eyes."
Story #2:
Last night Julian was out for dinner and bumped into a girl in his class, Phoebe. She has been over to play a couple of times, even though Julian doesn't generally play with girls. Last night, apparently, he was all over her, and as they walked together to the ice cream shop, he said to her, "You're like a magnet for me." Ha!
